This role is part of the Group Risk & Compliance team and reports to the Inter IKEA Group Risk & Compliance Manager. In this role you lead and guide Inter IKEA Group on its global insurance program. You indirectly, in a network/matrix setup, lead the insurance agenda for the insurance network of the entire Inter IKEA Group.

On a daily basis you will be:

  • Responsible to secure an adequate and optimal cost effective global insurance program based on the risk profile and risk appetite.
  • Leading the insurance network/matrix of relevant stakeholders.
  • Advising, instructing and training on insurance matters and claims handling for relevant stakeholders within Inter IKEA Group.
  • Monitoring the global insurance program contract performance in cooperation with the core business responsible.
  • Managing insurance data to analyse and facilitate the decision of the Insurance Forum and Finance Committee with regard to the decision to transfer the risks.
  • The secretary of the Inter IKEA Group Insurance Forum.
  • Keeping up to date to trends and developments in the field of risks transfer solutions and global insurance markets.
  • Analysing the International Insurance Associates (IIA) benchmark of insurance programs.
  • Channelling and coordinating any ad-hoc requests for insurance assistance and reviewing insurance requirements in agreements / contracts to support the business.
  • Coordinate, monitor and follow up on IKEA Blue; a tailored insurance risk grading tool.

  • Additional Information
    This role is full-time (40 hours per week) and based in Delft, the Netherlands. This role sits in the Business Performance & Support Organisation (CFO organisation) of Inter IKEA Group and reports to the Risk & Compliance Manager of Inter IKEA Group.
