As Team Lead – Flex Foundry at Delft Circuits, you will help build and lead our growing Foundry Product Line. You own the chain end-to-end: from customer needs and product roadmap, through design rules, sourcing and development, to manufacturing, testing and delivery.
This is a hands-on technical leadership role combining product, technology, customers, people and operations. You will report to our CPO and Co-Founder.
What will you do?
• Own and drive the Foundry product roadmap
• Further develop our PDK, design rules, manufacturing capabilities and testing
• Work directly with customers to translate their needs into technical solutions and projects
• Coordinate product and process development with Research and Process Development
• Lead the day-to-day Foundry operation and drive quality, repeatability, yield and continuous improvement
• Manage technical relationships with suppliers and project partners
• Lead, coach and grow the Foundry team while staying closely involved in technical and product challenges
What do you bring?
• A PhD in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Applied Physics, Nanotechnology, Microelectronics or a related field, or equivalent industrial experience
• At least 5 years of experience in semiconductor fab, flex/PCB manufacturing, microfabrication or a comparable high-tech manufacturing environment
• Strong technical understanding of materials, fabrication processes and manufacturability
• Experience translating customer and market needs into product requirements and a technical roadmap
• Experience leading people or technical teams
• An entrepreneurial mindset and strong communication and organizational skills
Delft | 36 hours per week
€77,760 – €94,608 per year, including 8% holiday allowance
1-year contract with intention to extend
