ppAs an Electronic Engineer in the Research Development department, you’ll work on new developments for the next generation of ISISPACE spacecraft. Together with your colleagues you will work on both design and verification activities as well as the introduction of new hardware into manufacturing and production. /p h3Your main responsibilities: /h3 ul liDesigning, developing and testing space rated electronic systems /li liTaking ownership of the development process from requirements through design, manufacturing and qualification /li liApplying consistent design and documentation practices in your work, and contributing to the development of these practices together with your colleagues /li /ul h3Qualifications Experience: /h3 ul liEducation in Electronics engineering (e.g. BEng, BSc, or MSc); or equivalent educational / practical background /li liDemonstrable experience of designing complex electronic systems to a high standard /li liThorough understanding of digital electronics and high‑speed PCB layout techniques /li liBasic competency with electronic CAD software (Altium, KiCAD or others) /li liFamiliarity with Design for Manufacture (DfM) and Design for Test (DfT) considerations /li liFamiliarity with electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters and logic analysers /li liExcellent and straightforward communication skills, in English (verbal and in writing) /li liAn open and creative mindset /li /ul h3Recommended / Nice to Have: /h3 ul liPractical experience in a combined development and small series production environment /li liAt least 2 years experience in a commercial electronics design environment /li liExperience working with IPC standards, for example IPC-2221C /li liExperience developing electronic systems for space /li liFamiliarity with commonly used protocols: CAN, RS-422, SpaceWire /li liFamiliarity with Microcontrollers and/or FPGAs /li liFamiliarity with ECSS standards, for example ECSS-Q-ST-30-11C for derating /li liAn interest and desire to engage with the wider space industry /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
