Our vessels are designed in‑house and equipped with cutting‑edge technology that allows us to push the boundaries of heavy lift, pipelay and subsea installation even further. /p h3Your role /h3 pOur Hardware‑in‑the‑loop (HIL) Simulator team develops virtual test environments and training simulators. The HIL setups use realtime, full physics simulations of, for example, our vessels or onboard equipment, connected to our in‑house developed control systems to test and validate their behaviour. We also create simulator environments focused on training the human‑machine interaction and team aspects of our offshore operations. To support internal development, the HIL team collaborates with our control and automation teams on an extensive toolset to autogenerate code and interfaces, helping us reduce repetitive work and speed up delivery. You’ll work in a team of six (mechanical/control/software) engineers. /p h3What are you going to do? /h3 ul liDevelop and maintain tooling for real‑time simulation, REST APIs, user‑facing frontends, and cluster/framework infrastructure used across multiple teams; /li liAutomate HIL workflows end‑to‑end, including auto‑generation, configuration, deployment, execution, and monitoring of test setups to reduce manual effort and errors.
