Job Summary In this highly visible role, we are looking for passionate, self‑starters who can work cross‑functionally to ensure system‑level performance of our products and help solve the world’s toughest timing problems. It is not necessary to meet all job requirements to be a qualified candidate for the position. Responsibilities Plan and execute device validation and characterization, including preparation of validation, characterization plans and reports. Perform project coordination for validation, characterization and release to production of MEMS‑based timing products between different sites in the role of System Engineering Lead, interface with cross‑functional teams and vendors. Work with MEMS and circuit design teams to evaluate new silicon and recommend design improvements for enhanced performance. Design and implement test automation to validate, characterize and release‑to‑production of MEMS‑based timing products. Design, develop, and validate PCB test platforms and firmware to enable automated data acquisition & analysis. Perform engineering failure analysis to root cause product issues. Promote and deploy best practices and methodologies to improve efficiency in the validation, characterization and industrialization of high‑quality MEMS‑based timing products. Mentor junior engineers in the team. Qualifications & Requirements MS or PhD in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. Exceptional candidates with other backgrounds will be considered. 5+ years of experience in the productization of semiconductor sensor‑based devices. Experience leading engineering project teams and creating and executing verification and characterization plans. Fundamental knowledge and understanding of mixed‑signal circuits. Hands‑on experience with electronics lab instrumentation. Prior experience with metrology systems for evaluating timing parameters is preferred but not required. Strong programming expertise with hands‑on experience in MATLAB, Python, C, and/or C++, including proficiency in object‑oriented programming. Experience with test automation frameworks and ATE (Automated Test Equipment) integration. Strong statistical analysis skills.
