You will take a leading role in the engineering of graphite as well as the definition, specification, and qualification of graphite materials and components for the HTGR core and related systems. /p pbKey responsibilities /b /p ul liCo-design the reactor internals; /li liInterpret simulations and use this to optimize the design; /li liDefine and develop graphite specifications; /li liAssess graphite behaviour under irradiation, oxidation, thermal cycling, and mechanical loading; /li liLead material selection and qualification processes; /li liDevelop and review test programs; /li liEnsure alignment with nuclear codes and standards; /li liSupport safety analyses; /li liInterface with multidisciplinary engineering teams. /li /ul h3What we expect from you /h3 ul liMSc or PhD in relevant field; /li liMinimum of 10 years of relevant experience; /li liExpertise in graphite behaviour under irradiation and high temperature; /li liExpertise in graphite interactions with other materials; /li liExperience with material qualification programs; /li liStrong analytical skills; /li liFamiliarity with nuclear safety frameworks; /li liExcellent communication skills. /li /ul h3What we offer /h3 pJoin us at the forefront of innovation and contribute to the development of first-of-a-kind nuclear technology.
