We are seeking a Senior Financial Controller for a professional services firm in Delft. The role will focus on driving financial accuracy, ensuring compliance, and further professionalising the organisation's financial governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation of multiple entities.
- Ensure timely, accurate reporting in line with Dutch GAAP/IFRS.
- Improve and streamline reporting processes and systems.
- Oversee all tax compliance activities, including CIT, VAT, payroll taxes, and statutory filings.
- Stay ahead of regulatory changes and ensure correct implementation.
- Develop, maintain, and optimise the organisation's internal risk management and control framework.
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure internal controls are designed and operating effectively.
- Provide insights, modelling, and decision support to senior management.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning cycles.
- Establish and promote best‑practice financial governance across the company.
Experience & Qualifications
- Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Economics, or similar.
- Registered Accountant (RA) qualification strongly preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in financial control, audit, or group reporting.
