Overview
As a Senior Engineer – Movable Bridges, you lead and shape the design and analysis of steel- and mech-driven bridge systems. You will build and mentor a multidisciplinary team, drive digital tooling and innovative methods, and advise clients through project lifecycles from renovation to new builds. You'll collaborate across civil, structural and geotechnical domains and connect with an international network to deliver future-proof infrastructure. - Lead complex design and advanced analysis of movable-bridge steel and mechanical structures (new builds and renovations)
- Build and inspire a multidisciplinary engineering team emphasizing knowledge sharing and technical excellence

Belangrijkste vereisten
- 7 to 10 years of experience in design and analysis of mechanical equipment and steel structures for movable bridges
- Deep expertise in developing designs with FEM modelling software
- Strong knowledge of relevant standards: NEN 6786-1 (VOBB) and Machinery Directive
- Proven leadership and ability to manage and inspire multidisciplinary teams
- Fluency in Dutch (minimum B2) and professional proficiency in English
