This role is for those who enjoy challenges and wish to contribute to the development of technology that powers GNSS L1/L5 receivers and BLE/Lora/NB‑IoT transceivers. /p h3Job Description /h3 pAs a Senior communication system Engineer, you’ll play a role in shaping the future of our cutting‑edge technology. You will be responsible for the design and implementation of communication systems and will contribute to the system design for our next‑generation products. /p ul liYou will work in our offices in Delft. /li liDesign and implement communication systems, considering factors such as bandwidth, latency, and reliability. /li liCollaborate with cross‑functional teams, including hardware engineers, software developers, and network engineers, to ensure seamless integration of communication systems. /li liDevelop and execute test plans to validate the performance and reliability of communication systems. /li liCollaborate closely with RTL implementation teams to ensure seamless integration and optimisation of designs. /li liCreate and maintain documentation for communication system designs, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 pAt Qualinx, we seek a result‑driven communication system Engineer who thrives in an environment where proactive, can‑do attitudes are celebrated. The ideal candidate bmust have /b: /p ul liStrong MATLAB programming and scripting skills. /li liIn‑depth knowledge of digital signal processing, physical layer blocks of wireless communication systems such as modulation/demodulation techniques, filters, channel estimation, equalisation, and synchronisation. /li liDeep understanding of bphysical /b and MAC layers of at least one of the following wireless communication standards: ul liBluetooth family: EDR, BLE, etc. /li liCellular Communication: 3G, NB‑IOT, LTE, LTE‑M /li liLORA, LORA‑WAN /li liDVB‑T2, DVB‑S2 or CCSDS family /li liGNSS: GPS, Galileo, BeiDou, GLONASS /li liIEEE: 802.11 family, 802.15 family /li /ul /li liProven track record of successful collaboration with RTL implementation teams including: ul liFixed‑point calculations /li liSolid understanding of FPGA or ASIC implementation in communication systems /li /ul /li /ul h3Nice to have: /h3 ul liC/C++ programming. /li liA Master degree or higher in Electrical Engineering. /li liAt least 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting communication systems. /li /ul h3What’s in it for you? /h3 ul liGiven that we are a startup, we provide all our employees with Stock Appreciation Rights.
