ph3About Us /h3 pQuantWare is building the world’s most powerful quantum processors to solve humanity's greatest challenges. We do this with our unique VIO™ technology, the only QPU architecture that breaks the hardware barriers that have held quantum computing back, unlocking the path to MegaQubit quantum processors. /p pWith VIO, we are paving the way for the hyper-scale quantum computers that will change the world. And delivering on that vision demands people who don’t shy away from tackling the hardest challenges of our time. That’s where you come in! /p pAs an RF Test Infrastructure Engineer, you will be the bridge between our RD innovations and proven, reliable, hyper-scaled hardware. This is a highly autonomous, hands‑on lab role. You won’t just be running routine tests, you will be designing, building, and commissioning the room‑temperature (RT) and cryogenic measurement infrastructure required to validate high‑density QPUs. /p pBy implementing automated switching matrices and optimizing high‑throughput signal lines, your work will directly eliminate the characterization bottleneck, allowing us to de‑risk new technologies and scale toward increasingly complex quantum systems. /p h3What You’ll Be Doing /h3 h3Core Responsibilities /h3 ul lipbTest Validate Devices: /b Plan and execute RF and DC test campaigns for VIO™ devices and test vehicles, verifying performance against specifications. /p /li lipbBuild Scale Measurement Infrastructure: /b Bring up, install, operate, and maintain room‑temperature and cryogenic measurement setups, scaling them as RD needs grow. /p /li lipbInvestigate Resolve Anomalies: /b Diagnose test failures, trace root causes, and feed findings back into device and process improvements. /p /li lipbDocument Track: /b Document setups and track process parameters across RD cycles to build a reusable knowledge base. /p /li /ul h3Collaboration Ownership /h3 ul lipWork with a highly interdisciplinary RD team to align test efforts with development priorities. /p /li lipOwn validation end‑to‑end, from setup and sample integration through execution, analysis, reporting, and recommendations. /p /li lipLead initiatives to improve test repeatability, measurement standards, and validation scalability. /p /li /ul h3Your Profile /h3 h3Must-haves /h3 ul lipA Master’s degree in electrical engineering, applied physics, or a related field. /p /li lip3+ years of experience in test, validation, or characterisation of deep‑tech or low‑volume hardware (industry experience is a plus). /p /li lipHands‑on experience with RF and/or DC measurement and test methods, and instrumentation such as VNAs and SMUs /p /li lipDirect experience working with high‑density interconnects, switching matrices, and evaluating RF link budgets (insertion loss, return loss, crosstalk). /p /li lipProficiency in Python and data analysis and visualisation for experiments, and for control and measurement electronics. /p /li /ul h3Bonus /h3 ul lipExperience with cryogenic systems such as dilution refrigerators. /p /li lipExposure to transport and microwave characterisation of superconducting circuits – such as critical temperature and current (Tc/Ic), residual resistance, and resonator quality factors (Qi/Qc) via VNA S-parameter measurements is a plus. /p /li /ul h3What We Offer /h3 pAt QuantWare, you’ll be part of a high-performing team of world‑class experts in an ambitious, fast-moving environment. From day one, you’ll have the trust, tools, and support to do your best work. Here’s what you can expect: /p pbCompetitive salary /b – A salary that reflects the impact and importance of the role (and of course 8% holiday allowance) /p pbPension that’s built to last /b – A generous and future-proof pension plan that includes partner and dependent coverage. /p pbFlexibility built on trust /b – We focus on outcomes. Work flexibly, in a hybrid setup, with an open vacation policy that lets you manage your time /p pbPersonal growth /b – We invest in your LD, with a budget available to each team member, dependent on their individual ambitions, development needs, and performance /p pbA connected team /b – We make space to celebrate wins together, with team events, offsites, and spontaneous moments that bring us closer /p h3Diversity Inclusion at QuantWare /h3 pWe’re an ambitious company, not only for our goals but also to become an even more diverse and inclusive team. We know this helps us with better decisions, more innovation, and strengthens our culture. In particular, we’d love to see more women in the quantum industry! /p pSo if you’re a female talent, excited about this opportunity but don’t meet every single requirement, we still encourage you to apply. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
