pAs a Radio Frequency Engineer in the Research Development department, you’ll work on new developments for the next generation of ISISPACE spacecraft. Together with your colleagues you will both design and verify RF systems as they progress from concept to deployment. You will be responsible for the RF performance of spacecraft equipment, as well as addressing Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) and Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) concerns. /pbrLijkt deze vacature u wat? Scroll naar beneden om de volledige functieomschrijving te lezen.brYour main responsibilities:ullipDesign of RF systems for our spacecraft, including component selection and architecture definition. /p /lilipCollaboration with electronics, software, and mechanical engineers to build prototypes and engineering models. /p /lilipSimulation of proposed systems in order to inform the design process. /p /lilipDevelop and execute test plans to validate RF system performance and ensure compliance with requirements. /p /lilipAnalyse data from RF tests and simulations to diagnose issues, optimize system performance, and propose innovative solutions. /p /lilipIdentify and mitigate RF-related issues, such as interference, noise, and EMI/EMC. /p /lilipPrepare detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and compliance documentation. /p /li /ulJob requirementsPrerequisites:ullipTechnical Education with a Radio Frequency engineering component (e.g BEng, BSc, or MSc); or equivalent educational / practical background. /p /lilipDemonstrable experience of designing and building RF systems to a high standard. /p /lilipAt least 2 years of experience in RF engineering, RF system design or a related field. /p /lilipIn-depth knowledge of RF theory, microwave engineering, antenna design principles. /p /lilipProven experience with RF system simulation and modelling tools (e.g., CST, Python). /p /lilipExperience with RF test equipment (e.g., spectrum analysers, network analysers, oscilloscopes) and EMI/EMC testing equipment. /p /lilipExperience with designing for EMI/EMC compliance, including knowledge of grounding, shielding, filtering, and layout techniques. /p /lilipGood communication skills in English (spoken and written). /p /lilipAbility to work independently, think critically, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. /p /li /ulDesired but not essential experience:ullipFamiliarity with regulatory requirements and technical standards (e.g., CISPR, MIL-STD, ECSS, CCSDS, ETSI, ITU). /p /lilipFamiliarity with PCB layout and design for RF systems. /p /lilipHands-on experience with developing and prototyping RF and analogue electronic systems and / or antennas. xgiwjmb /p /lilipExperience in developing software tools for RF and EMI/EMC testing and analysis. /p /li /ulbr
