The RF Systems Engineer will be responsible for analysing, ensuring, and improving the performance of the RF systems and components. A critical part of this role involves analysing complex RF issues, addressing Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) and Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) concerns, and ensuring optimal performance across various operating conditions. /pbrpCandidate should have strong analytical skills, a solid background in RF theory and microwave engineering, and hands‑on experience in the full lifecycle of RF system development. /pbrResponsibilitiesbrullibr/liliPerform antenna and RF system simulations using industry‑standard software to analyse and predict performance on various platforms.br/liliDevelop and execute test plans to validate RF system performance and ensure compliance with design specifications.br/liliAnalyse data from RF tests and simulations to diagnose issues, optimise system performance, and propose innovative solutions.br/liliIdentify RF‑related issues, such as interference, noise, and EMI/EMC challenges, and design/implement solutions to address them, including proper grounding, shielding, and filtering techniques.br/liliCollaborate with cross‑functional teams, including hardware, software, and mechanical engineers, to integrate RF systems into our satellites and develop them as stand‑alone products.br/liliPrepare detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and compliance documentation.br/liliConduct field tests and performance evaluations to ensure RF systems meet operational requirements and customer expectations.br/liliStay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in RF engineering and apply this knowledge to enhance our products and processes.br/li /ulbrRequirementsbrullibr/liliA degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.br/liliAt least 3 years of working experience in RF engineering, RF system design or a related field.br/liliIn‑depth knowledge of RF theory, microwave engineering, antenna design principles.br/liliProven experience with RF system simulation and modelling tools (e.g., HFSS, CST, MATLAB, Genesys, Python).br/liliExperience with RF test equipment (e.g., spectrum analysers, network analysers, oscilloscopes) and EMI/EMC testing equipment.br/liliExperience with designing for EMI/EMC compliance, including knowledge of grounding, shielding, filtering, and layout techniques.br/liliGood communication skills in English (spoken and written).br/liliAbility to work independently, think critically, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.br/li /ulbrPreferredbrullibr/liliFamiliarity with regulatory requirements and technical standards (e.g., CISPR, MIL‑STD, ECSS, CCSDS, ETSI, ITU).br/liliFamiliarity with PCB layout and design for RF systems.br/liliHands‑on experience with developing and prototyping RF and analogue electronic systems and/or antennas.br/liliExperience in developing software tools for RF and EMI/EMC testing and analysis.br/li /ulbrBenefitsbrullibr/liliPension plan for all employees over 21 years of age.br/lili32‑40‑hour week, with flexible work hours.br/liliVariable end‑of‑year bonus of up to 8 %.br/liliCommuting allowance of € 0.23 per kilometer.br/lili25 paid vacation days (excluding national holidays).br/liliHoliday allowance of 8 % of the gross salary. xgiwjmb br/liliInternal training programs, full or partial reimbursement of training.br/li /ulbrLocationbrpHybrid, Delft, Netherlands /pbrSalarybrp€3,538 – €4,490 per month /pbrCompanybrpMission Solutions Engineering /pbr
