You will be responsible for designing critical microwave components, innovating packaging solutions for large‑scale Quantum Processor Units (QPUs), and bridging the gap between hardware and software by integrating designs into an automated workflow. /p h3What You’ll Be Doing /h3 ul lipbComponent Mechanical Design: /b Design critical electromechanical components that form the backbone of our QPUs. You will work closely with the simulation team to validate models and implement design improvements at both the chip and board levels. /p /li lipbPrecision Engineering: /b Utilize CAD to design PCBs, precision housing parts, magnetic shielding, and custom assembly tooling required for cryogenic environments. /p /li lipbMicrowave Optimisation: /b Solve complex challenges related to insertion loss, impedance matching, and cross‑talk at both the PCB and package levels. /p /li lipbAutomation Scripting: /b Integrate designs into our codebase.
