Job Description:
Reporting to the R&D Lead Hearing Protection you will be in a full-time position within the R&D department.
Tasks include:
Definition and organization of multi-disciplinary projects, starting from a concept including: Project organization into work packages, project planning, expectations, deliverables and identification of project risks. Reaching out to other (R&D) groups within Sonova, for support and joint execution of projects. Setting up projects according to relevant SOP’s, redefine SOP’s if required. Support of product management with the establishment of detailed requirements. Definition of the need for internal and external resources. Establishment of a project budget. Assessment of IP and relevant regulations together with the manager IP & Regulatory Affairs.
Management of multi-disciplined projects including: Taking the leadership role on project teams. Taking the leadership role on the technical content of a project, including architecture decisions and technical specifications. Management of subcontracting work. Continually monitoring the project performance against plan. Management of disruptions and setbacks to schedule. Development and communication of contingency plans. Lead in the identification and management of risks and opportunities identified from a budget, schedule, and quality viewpoint. Working closely with product management and major project stakeholders creating a cooperative and efficient environment with a pro-active, results oriented focus. Compilation and presentation of regular project reports to the project steering committee and management team. Negotiating with line managers and third parties, minimizing resource bottlenecks. Tracking of project accounts. Ensuring compliance of all project and process components with the quality system.
Delivery of an industrialized product to operations including: Responsibility for fulfilment of requirements. Responsibility for verification of compliance with specifications. Responsibility for providing manufacturing and test means. Responsibility for compliance with manufacturing cost targets, considering process yields.
Technology and feasibility assessments.
Represent PL considerations in annual budget efforts.
Skills and Experience:
Experience with project leadership and/or management
Experience in a multinational innovation-driven organization
Able to cope with uncertainty in projects running inside a fast-paced complex environment
Experience with R&D, working in R&D environment
Managing multiple tasks independently
Excellent communication skills
Creative and problem solving.
Spoken and written Dutch and/or English.
Personality:
