Your role
As an R&D Engineer Welding you will join our welding development team, where you will get the opportunity to translate the latest insights from academia into practical solutions. Faced with an ever-changing industry and ever-increasing requirements for our welding processes, we believe that in-house research is essential to stay at the forefront of our industry. Together with our multi-disciplinary team you will work at streamlining our welding processes head-to-toe, connecting project preparation, weld application and non-destructive testing, ultimately achieving optimal (and consistent) material properties of our welded products. To support you in this endeavor, we provide access to our in-house testing and fabrication facilities, as well as to our unique (and proprietary) non-destructive testing and data acquisition systems.
What we expect from you
- MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering or Materials Science;
- 0-4 years relevant experience;
- Strong analytical skills and technical insight;
- Creative and resilient mind-set;
- Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
