To achieve our mission, we are looking for enthusiastic candidates with scientific skills and resourcefulness. /p pJoining a dynamic team with a rich diversity of backgrounds and nationalities, you'll be at the forefront of developing the next generation of devices aimed at elevating their performance to new heights. /p pWith access to cutting‑edge methodologies and state‑of‑the‑art tools, our laboratory team works in our recently expanded and fully operational laboratory to characterize devices, perform experiments and find the next generation of improvements to propel our technology forward. /p pbYou will be involved in: /b /p ul liMeasurements and characterization of integrated photonics devices /li liAnalysing, summarizing, and sharing your results /li liSolving technical and engineering challenges /li liWorking in collaboration with fabrication, measurement and simulation scientists and engineers /li /ul pbSkills and knowledge you will bring to QphoX: /b /p ul liMSc or PhD graduate with a background in physics, quantum optics, integrated photonics, or related field /li li3-5 years of lab experience /li liProficiency in Python for instrument automation, data acquisition and data analysis /li liExperience with Git version control /li liExperience with measurement of integrated photonics devices /li liGood understanding of quantum and nonlinear optics /li liAbility to work collaboratively with other engineers, scientists and technicians with a wide range of expertise /li liGood organizational and planning skills to achieve set goals on time /li /ul pSupplementary skills set: /p ul liExperienced with FDTD or frequency domain optical simulation software’s (e.g. COMSOL, ANSYS Lumerical, MEEP) /li /ul pbOur Ideal Candidate: /b /p pThey are passionate about hands‑on experimentation and scientific work.
