That’s where you come in! /p pWe are looking for a bSenior Quantum Measurement and Calibration Engineer /b to drive the experimental characterization, diagnostic protocol development, and performance optimization of our next-generation quantum processors. You will be responsible for building advanced diagnostic routines that isolate loss mechanisms, quantify crosstalk, budget gate errors, and improve operational fidelities across our QPUs and development prototypes. /p pYou will work in our Quantum Processor team at the core of our measurement efforts, collaborating closely with QPU Design, Measurement and Software Engineers. Your measurements will directly contribute to improving our quantum processor performance and push the edge of what is currently possible. /p h3What you’ll be doing /h3 ul lipbAdvanced measurement protocols: /bCreate and refine advanced protocols to improve quantum gate and readout fidelities and develop diagnostics tooling to identify performance bottlenecks (e.g. noise and TLS spectroscopy, gate error budgeting). /p /li lipbDesign and execution of experiments: /b Design and execute experiments to validate, compare, and benchmark new design elements and layout optimisations (e.g. coupling schemes, filtering, crosstalk mitigations). /p /li lipbData-Driven Feedback: /bAnalyze measurement datasets, report findings with clarity, and lead discussions with the broader engineering teams to translate experimental learnings into device design upgrades. /p /li lipbOwnership: /bTake complete ownership of measurement campaigns – from the initial hypothesis and experiment design through cooldown, data acquisition, analysis, and final reporting. /p /li /ul h3Your Profile /h3 ul lip5+ years of hands-on experience in bcryogenic measurement of multi-qubit superconducting quantum processors /b. /p /li lipExtensive experience in bdiagnosing performance-limiting mechanisms /b in superconducting quantum processors. /p /li lipDeep understanding of bcQED /b and bsuperconducting quantum device behaviour /b and signal integrity challenges. /p /li lipProficiency in bPython /b and bdata analysis /b for quantum experiments /p /li lipA bproactive /b, bdetail-oriented /b mindset with a bstrong drive /b to scale quantum technology /p /li lipYou thrive in a bcollaborative /b environment and are comfortable taking bownership /b from day one. /p /li /ul pDon't tick every box?
