Your mission: To further solidify the competitive position of Qblox, and provide a clear path for growth, we are looking for a highly motivated Product Manager with an entrepreneurial mindset and solid market understanding who identifies themselves as having a passion for customer value propositioning.

Responsibilities

  • Working with strategic customers: Define the global most influential labs specific to your market segment
  • Map out customer/application breakdown within your market segment
  • Proactively establish professional and productive relationships with key stakeholders in the market.
  • Represent Qblox at relevant gatherings/conferences, positioning us as a thought leader in the market segment.
  • Assess, clarify, and validate customer requirements, needs, and goals on a consistent basis and keep track of this in the Market Requirement Documents.
  • Maintain relations and application understanding with installed base.
  • Support experiment discussions with strategic end-users during the sales process.

Effective Product roadmap implementation

  • Define market trends for responsible market segments, bundle and describe user requirements over a rolling date range of 3 years, and rank your requirements in priority.
  • Convert market requirements into high level product definitions, backed by a high-level business case to be agreed upon with the board
  • Drive the making of the product business case and write the market plan including product positioning, competitor analysis, and value documents.
  • Define products (customer-product fit) and roadmap, describing Use-cases, Key features & benefits, and Key performance specifications
  • Liaise with R&D, monitor product development progress and provide input on development dilemmas
  • Guide the MSO team with formulating a product launch plan, provide content and selection to marketing collateral, and provide the content to product press releases.
  • Liaise with the customer support team to obtain customer feedback on products.

Delivering on the organization’s strategy

  • Monitor sales and revenue progress of the product portfolio
  • Incorporate customer feedback into product roadmap, continuously improving usability and competitive advantage

Qualifications

  • PhD degree in experimental quantum Physics, from a top tier university.
  • A solid understanding of customer’s perception of value when it comes to applying our technology to research of superconducting or spin qubits
  • Hands-on lab skills. Solid experience in qubit characterization, tune-up, and control at both pulse and gate level
  • A highly-motivated team player with a creative, problem-solving & self-starting ‘can-do mentality’
  • Data & metrics-driven scientific mind with eye for business opportunities

  • Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills
