h3Overview /h3 pA Field Engineer for subsea cable installation is responsible for overseeing the execution of subsea cable installation, projects and (de)mobilizing cable equipment and systems on maritime facilities. Conduct regular safety checks. /li libCommunication: /b Being able to clearly communicate at all levels with our clients as well as the office and deck crews. /li libTechnical Expertise: /b Provide technical support to offshore personnel, guiding them through problems and solutions for various equipment issues. /li libInstallation and Maintenance: /b Oversee the installation of subsea cables, (de)mobilization of offshore equipment and work with technicians to ensure maintenance is conducted. /li libProblem Solving: /b Diagnosing and resolving technical issues during project execution, collaborating with the onshore engineering team as necessary and perform ad-hoc engineering analyses, to minimize downtime. /li libDocumentation: /b Maintaining accurate records of offshore activities, equipment specifications, as-built drawings, work procedures, change management and daily project reports. /li libTeamwork: /b Working closely with on- and offshore teams, other engineers, and project managers to coordinate and execute the activities effectively. /li libRegulatory Compliance: /b Ensure all operations comply with relevant industry regulations, environmental standards, and company policies. /li /ul h3Qualifications / Experience /h3 ul liDemonstrable cable lay project experience in position of Field Engineer is a must. /li liBasic knowledge of software like AutoCAD or similar tools used for design and simulation purposes. /li liFamiliarity with cable lay equipment design, installation, and commissioning procedures. /li liDegree in Mechanical Engineering / Offshore Engineering / Civil Engineering or equivalent. /li liMinimum of 1 year experience in a similar role or extensive cable lay engineering experience. /li /ul h3Certifications /h3 ul liFull GWO (BOSIET/FOET is accepted as alternative) /li liNOGEPA Medical (or equivalent like OGUK, STCW) /li liSeaman's book /li /ul h3Rotation / Duration /h3 ul li6 weeks on / 6 weeks off – 12 hours per day. /li li3 rotations. /li /ul h3Job Details /h3 ul libSeniority level: /b Mid-Senior level /li libEmployment type: /b Contract /li libIndustries: /b Outsourcing and Offshoring Consulting and Services for Renewable Energy /li /ul pIf you meet the requirements and see yourself reflected in this role, apply today! /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
