Description
The Application Engineer supports Prysmian's High Voltage accessory portfolio by translating customer requirements into engineered solutions, supporting sales and project teams, and contributing to product standardization and innovation.
Working in close collaboration with Sales, Engineering, and R&D, the Application Engineer is responsible for developing the optimal technical proposal for clients, taking into account the full Prysmian product and service portfolio. The main goal is to enhance added value and establish a unique competitive advantage for the company.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Handles customer enquiries (intercompany and export) in consultation with Sales;
Prepares quotation documents, including technical proposals, quality and inspection plans;
Compiles customer documentation, such as type test reports, data sheets and other special specifications;
Designs installation concepts with the aim of reducing TCO;
Designs using the 3D CAD system and electric field simulation software;
Designs marketing documents, such as data sheets, brochures and instructions; maintains customer contacts;

3D configurator admin (Solid Works)
3D programming configurator (Driveworks/PDM)
5. Collaboration
Collaborate globally with your Prysmian colle
Work with Operations, Project Management, Quality, Supply Chain
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor/Master in Mechanical Engineering; experience with HV systems preferred: CAD/PDM advantageous
Technical understanding, CAD knowledge, communication skills, problem solving
Performance Indicators
Accuracy of proposals, customer satisfaction, engineering lead times, 3D product portfolio programming
