Job Description
What will you do?
You join the Network Management Center (NMC) and be responsible for maintaining the health and availability of our telecom network, which supports data traffic from energy stations and households to our datacenters.
Key Responsibilities
The Senior Telecom Network Administrator will be responsible for:
Network Operations & Monitoring
Proactive monitoring of telecom network performance and availability.
Maintaining operational continuity across critical telecom infrastructure.
Managing and optimizing NMC monitoring tooling and applications.
Incident & Problem Management
Handling 2nd and 3rd line incidents.
Performing root cause investigations and resolving complex network issues.
Supporting Problem Management activities to prevent recurring incidents.
Change & Lifecycle Management
Planning and executing network changes.
Supporting Change Management processes.
Collaborating with architects, engineers, and vendors on lifecycle management initiatives.
Network Design & Implementations
Reviewing network designs.
Defining and validating acceptance criteria for new network solutions.
Supporting telecom network implementation projects and migrations.
Knowledge Sharing & Governance
Coaching and mentoring junior network administrators.
Developing and maintaining operational procedures and work instructions.
Contributing to continuous improvement within the NMC.
On-Call Support
Participating in a 24/7 on-call rotation.

Required Qualifications
Education
HBO ICT Degree or higher.
Languages
Fluent Dutch (spoken and written).
Fluent English (spoken and written).
Experience
Minimum 5 years of Experience as a Network Engineer or Network Administrator.
Proven Experience working within a NOC (Network Operations Center) or NMC (Network Management Center) environment.
Experience managing large-scale telecom and network infrastructures.
Vendor Technologies
Must have Experience with:
Cisco
Nokia
Juniper
Fortinet
Certifications
Requested:
CCNA
JNCIA
Preferred :
CCNP / JNCIP level expertise
