Job Summary
Join the team that is revolutionizing the timing industrywith the best silicon Microelectromechanical Systems (MEMS) timing products inthe world. As a MEMS Metrology Engineer, you will use your technical andcreative problem solving skills to develop our metrology systems and engineerMEMS resonators for x next-generation timing products.
Responsibilities
- Design,run, and analyze experiments to understand device physics, materials, andfabrication
- Extendand improve RF metrology and automation; lead general lab development
- Defineand drive adoption of improved measurement standards and laboratorypractices
- OptimizeMEMS devices and characterize their electrical, mechanical, and thermalperformance
- Interfacewith local and overseas vendors
- Workin cross-functional Engineering teams, including Circuits, Systems, andPackaging
- Driveand/or support other projects as needed
Requirements & Qualifications:
- PhDin Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics or equivalentrequired
- Skilledscientist with ability to design, conduct, and analyze experiments
- Experiencerunning laboratory experiments with RF or microwave measurement required
- Proficientcoder in Matlab, Python, C/C++, or C#, etc.
- Industryexperience in device measurement, measurement automation, or testpreferred
- Printedcircuit board design experience and oscillator fundamentals preferred
- Excellentknowledge of physics: mechanics, electrodynamics, thermodynamics
- Excellentcritical thinking and strong organizational skills
- Clearand concise scientific communication
- Abilityto work well with others in a collaborative fast-paced team environment
