The range of work can vary from high-level conceptual desktop studies up to on-site work on testing and commissioning of newly built or renovated installations. As a specialist, you will be a member of the multidisciplinary project team. On other projects you will also act as consultant, directly cooperating with the client. /ppYou will manage and carry responsibility for: /pulliConceptual and detailed design of electrical (power) systems for ports/terminals, shore power systems, windfarms, and solar systems /liliConsultancy projects regarding the electrification of port operations and energy efficiency improvement, local renewable power generation and the implementation of infrastructure for clean energy carriers such as Hydrogen /liliDesign reviews of energy related systems designed by others /liliCost estimates and economic evaluations (CAPEX and OPEX) of technical alternatives /liliGuidance of detailed electrical design works by local teams of Haskoning or other consultants /li /ulh3Where you will work /h3pYou will become part of the Business Line Water Maritime (BL WM). This business line focuses on three leading markets: maritime, climate resilience, and water technology. You are a team player while also able to work independently and with limited supervision. /ppWe expect candidates to comply with the following minimum qualifications: /pulliEducation: Bachelor (BSc) or Master (MSc) in Electrical Engineering /liliAround 5 years or more working experience, preferably working for a consulting organisation, client, or contractor /liliSound electrical engineering knowledge and experience in MV and HV (11 kV up to 400 kV) /liliKnowledge of the full spectrum of Indoor and Outdoor Substation Designs /liliAn intimate knowledge of local and international standards and codes /liliBe able to develop engineering documentation from first principles /liliThe ability to liaise with relevant stakeholders at all levels /li /ulpIn addition, the following skills and attributes are considered advantageous in securing this position: /pulliKnowledge of shore power systems and/or electrical installations on-board of ships /liliExperience with operations and/or design of electrically powered container handling equipment and the required infrastructure /liliKnowledge of clean energy carriers such as hydrogen, ammonia, and methanol and the related technologies to produce and apply them in a renewable energy system /liliConversant with PVsyst, Digsilent, ETAP (or other equivalent package) electrical power systems modelling and analysis software /liliPrevious track record in successfully generating new business within the renewable sector /li /ulh3What you can expect from us /h3pAt Haskoning, we believe that the well-being of our employees is essential to our shared success.
