Demcon life sciences health is a multidisciplinary development and engineering partner for mechatronic challenges, from concept to realization, in the field of life sciences health. /p h3What are you going to do? /h3 pAs a mechatronic systems engineer, you will work within a multidisciplinary RD team to design, define, and document systems used for various mechatronic systems in the field of medical devices, IVDs, implantables, or wearables. You will combine medical product development experience with application knowledge. In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with functional leaders in product development in the fields of electronics, industrial design, mechatronics, and software, as well as with internal and external experts. Throughout the development process, you will monitor the technical risks and design progress of your work packages. When design decisions need to be made, you will be one of the key players and will lead the discussion, e.g. by means of trade-offs. In addition, you will support the other engineers in your team in a coaching role. In the detailed design, assembly, and testing phase, you will dive into the details and work closely with the rest of the team to realize a system that can be built and verified. After performing the verification tests, you will ensure that all requirements are met, and if not, you will take steps to improve. You will always work in multidisciplinary teams, with external development partners and in consultation with the customer. Communication and collaboration are very important in order to achieve a great joint result. /p h3What do you bring to the table? /h3 ul liCompleted Bachelor or university education in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Biomedical Engineering, or similar. /li liYou have at least 8-10 years of relevant work experience as a systems engineer in a multidisciplinary environment. /li liYou can work independently, take on a lot of responsibility, and have the communication skills to explain your work. /li liYou enjoy coaching other engineers. /li liAn affinity with medical devices is an advantage. /li /ul h3What do we offer you? /h3 pAt Demcon we value a pleasant workplace.
