What are you going to do as Lead Engineer Production Engineering

Lead and coordinate projects within Production Engineering

Solve production issues and structurally improve processes

Introduce and implement new production methods and machines

Guard priorities and progress within projects

Actively contribute to technical solutions and projects (hands‑on)

Lead and coach Production Engineers

Create structure, standardization, and process improvements

Align with internal stakeholders such as R&D, QA, and Production

Regularly communicate progress and results within the organization

Are you someone with

Academic working and thinking level (WO), preferably in a technical field such as Mechanical Engineering

You actively participate in projects and issue resolution, while maintaining oversight and continuously setting the right priorities

You are action‑oriented, hands‑on, and comfortable in an environment where theory and practice meet

Affinity with production environments and process improvement

Experience in leading and coaching a team, providing direction, setting priorities, and supporting people in their development

Entrepreneurial, proactive, and able to engage and motivate others

Clear communicator who can easily collaborate across disciplines

Strong command of both Dutch and English

Oldelft is an innovative Dutch high‑tech company. With a team of more than 85 employees, they develop and produce advanced ultrasound TEE probes that enable highly accurate imaging of the heart from the esophagus. These high‑tech instruments are globally unique due to their extreme miniaturization and technological complexity.

Oldelft specialize in developing complex ultrasound transducers and have significantly advanced in the field of 3D ultrasound technology in recent years. To support this, Oldelft develops own ASICs, which are controlled and validated using FPGAs. Thanks to this combination of deep expertise and innovative strength, Oldelft is at the forefront of medical ultrasound technology worldwide.
