ppWhile involvement in the other teams is possible, as a grid compliance engineer and consultant your main focus will be to perform electrical power system studies and advise clients on the outcome of these studies. /p ul liPerform grid studies (such as load flow analysis, short‑circuit analysis, dynamic studies, insulation coordination studies, power quality studies) in various power system analysis tools. /li liBuild deep knowledge and understanding of the impact of the Dutch and European grid codes on these grid studies and consult our clients on the study results and mitigation measures, if needed. /li liManage the grid compliance process for our Dutch and International clients and liaise directly with the responsible DSO/TSO, expanding your network at both sides and reinforcing Energy Solution’s leading position in the grid compliance market. /li liDesign test plans and supervise grid compliance tests for the renewable energy facilities. /li liParticipate in the FATs and SATs of the electrical equipment such as HV/MV cables and transformers. /li liWrite technical reports describing the findings of the simulation studies and conducted analysis. /li liConduct discussions with the stakeholders (customers and suppliers). /li liTake initiative to help Energy Solutions standardize and automate the grid study simulations. /li /ul h3Knowledge / Experience /h3 ul liMasters (WO) or Bachelors (HBO) degree in electrical engineering preferably focused on power systems engineering or renewable energy systems. /li liBasic experience of some of the power system analysis tools (such as Digsilent PowerFactory, PSS/E, PSCAD, RSCAD). /li liKnowledge of Python or other programming language for scripting and automation of the simulation tools. /li liKnowledge of electrical high‑voltage equipment, power system principles, and dynamics. /li liExcellent technical writing and speaking skills in both Dutch and English. /li /ul h3Personal skills /h3 ul liSelf‑initiating and can‑do attitude. /li liAbility to work independently and take responsibility of the dynamic projects. /li liEnthusiasm to learn and grow as a senior engineer/consultant. /li liProblem‑solving skills and critical thinking. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
