Overview
Global Director Mobility & Infrastructure at Haskoning. Executive Council Member. The role leads the future direction of mobility and infrastructure in the Netherlands and internationally, translating the business strategy into an inspiring course for the Business Line Mobility & Infrastructure (M&I).
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership for M&I across three markets: Mobility, Tunnels & Structures, and Aviation, collaborating with Global Leading Markets and leveraging the national position as a base for international growth.
- Align M&I with organizational pillars: Enhancing Society Together, Invest in People, Grow in Leading Markets, Focus on Clients, and Innovate & Deliver; translate these into concrete choices and inspiring leadership.
- Drive innovation and technology strategy, fostering a culture of trust, transparency, and shared ambition; lead cross-division collaboration to develop future leaders.
- Lead and develop diverse teams, coach and sponsor future leaders, and steer integration of digital technology (digital twins, sensing) into integral design and delivery processes.
- Ensure sustainable infrastructure outcomes for a range of clients from government to private sector, managing end-to-end processes from policy exploration to realization and maintenance.
Qualifications & Experience
- Entrepreneurial and strategic leadership with a clear vision; strong people leadership and a track record of delivering complex programs in engineering, consultancy, or technology.
- Visible in the market with the ability to represent Haskoning and M&I confidently and strengthen relationships at executive levels.
- Strong network at the board/CEO level and the ability to leverage it for strategic opportunities and problem solving.
- Clear view on market developments and technological innovations (including AI and digitalization) and the ability to translate into new ways of working and propositions.
- Experience in creating cross-disciplinary collaboration and bringing together diverse expertises for strategic consultancy and high-end engineering projects.
- Fluent in Dutch and English; residence in the Netherlands.
