In this role, you report directly to the VP, Global Controller and collaborate closely with him/her.
Your department/ team
You will be part of the global Finance team. This team plays a crucial role in ensuring financial accuracy, improving processes, and supporting international growth. You will work closely with departments such as FP&A, Tax, local finance teams, and external auditors.
Your tasks and responsibilities
Financial Consolidation & Reporting
- Preparing consolidated financial statements in a multicurrency environment
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure financial accuracy
- Overseeing internal and external reporting, including reporting for lenders
- Supporting statutory and tax requirements for international entities
External Audit Management
- Managing the full external audit process
- Preparing audited financial statements and PBC documentation
- Acting as the primary point of contact for external auditors
Policies, Processes & Controls
- Implementing and managing the internal control framework
- Driving standardization and automation within Finance
- Developing global accounting policies and monitoring closing processes
- Supporting the implementation and optimization of financial ERP systems
Your knowledge and experience
- Certified Public Accountant (or equivalent) required; experience at a major international or national accounting firm is a plus
- 5–10 years of relevant accounting experience in a global organization
- Experience with consolidation processes (preferably multicurrency)
- Strong background in internal controls and process improvement
- In-depth knowledge of Dutch GAAP / IFRS
- Experience with modern financial systems; ERP knowledge is a plus
- Understanding of VAT, corporate income tax, and transfer pricing is considered an advantage
- Proven experience leading global closing processes and internal control programs
- Excellent command of the English language
