ppWe are currently looking for a bEquipment Engineer /b to join our Pipeline Production Department (PPD) in Delft, the Netherlands. This role can be an excellent starting point of your career at Allseas. /ppAllseas’ Pipeline Production Department (PPD) consists of five units: Welding and Materials Engineering, NDT Engineering, Coating Engineering, Equipment Engineering and Production Engineering. The department is responsible for the development, qualification and implementation of pipelay Welding-, NDT and Field Joint Coating (FJC) procedures in line with the agreed client specifications. Associated production equipment is provided by the Equipment Engineers in an efficient and timely manner and in addition they coordinate the implementation of new production equipment and optimise the existing production equipment where applicable. /ph3Your role /h3pAs an Equipment Engineer, you will make sure that all equipment related activities for our pipelay vessels are prepared on time and in an economic way. It is your task to timely and economically prepare and support the equipment related activities for the pipe lay vessels, ensuring the project requirements are met. /ppYou will monitor the production equipment built by Allseas or subcontractors, both on- and offshore, and take care of efficient planning and allocation of equipment for qualifications and projects. You will also make sure that adequate support and knowledge is available for implementation of new and existing equipment on board the vessels, by means of training, manuals and procedures. /ppAs Equipment Engineer, you will evaluate, check and approve deliverables of different parties, including bases of design, related test reports, drawings, requisitions, commissioning reports and Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) reports. /ppYour additional main tasks are: /pulliSetting up, planning and managing production equipment development/expansion projects when necessary, based on future projects and/or qualification trials. /liliMonitoring progress of all involved parties during a development/expansion project, making sure all goes according to schedule. /liliReporting to the Unit Head Production Equipment regarding status of newly built equipment, problems foreseen or encountered on development/expansion projects and possible equipment improvements in a broad sense. /li /ulh3What we expect from you /h3pIn this role, you will join a team-minded and energetic department with committed professional colleagues.
