I am recruiting for an EDA Engineer to join my client, a fast-growing company building advanced tools for IC design.
This is not a CAD or flow engineering role. My client is specifically looking for someone who has developed products for the EDA industry, ideally with integration experience involving platforms like Cadence or Siemens.
As An EDA Engineer, You Will
- Develop core features for commercial EDA tools and internal infrastructure
- Create integrations with platforms such as Cadence or Siemens using APIs, SKILL, or Python
- Work closely with design teams to understand technical requirements and improve workflow efficiency
- Optimise performance, scalability, and usability of tools for analog and mixed signal IC environments
- Contribute to product direction and roadmap
Key Experience
- Strong background in developing EDA tools or related products
- Familiarity with Cadence or Siemens ecosystems (e.g. OA, PDKs, plug ins)
- Proficiency in C++ or Python
- Previous experience in a commercial EDA company or a smaller specialised startup
- Understanding of IC design challenges, especially analog or RF, is a plus
