Job Description

The Director of Strategic Programs is responsible for driving company-wide value creation initiatives. This individual drives important parts of the Value Creation Plan, ensures rigorous execution against our long-range growth targets and supports Corporate Development efforts.

This role sits at the intersection of finance, and operations, translating TOPdesk strategy into measurable outcomes and ensuring execution discipline across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead company-wide strategic initiatives critical to TOPdesk’s long-term growth and profitability as directed by the CFO and COO.
  • Ensure measurable value realization from the Value Creation Plan, with clear accountability for revenue, margin, and operational impact.
  • Translate board-level priorities into structured, trackable programs with clear KPIs and financial impact. Identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Serve as a strategic thought partner to the Executive Leadership Team, shaping investment decisions, prioritization trade-offs, and resource allocation.
  • Take ownership of end-to-end program management and execution for TOPdesk’s most strategic company-wide initiatives – from scoping and design through launch and scaling.
  • Foster a culture of AI-driven performance by proactively identifying and embedding high-impact agentic AI solutions within internal processes.
  • Lead strategic workstreams in Corporate Development with a focus on due diligence and executable integration roadmaps.

Qualifications

Experience

  • 3-6 years in strategy consulting, corporate development, or private equity portfolio operations.
  • 2 years of industry experience in a similar role, a plus.
  • Experience in a PE-backed SaaS or high-growth B2B technology company strongly preferred.
  • Direct exposure to board reporting and investor-facing environments.
  • Experience supporting M&A and post-merger integration initiatives.

Additional Information

This role is ideally based in Delft, the Netherlands (hybrid). Europe-based remote candidates will be considered, with the expectation of bi-weekly in-person presence in Delft.
