Team Overview and Job responsibilities:
We are looking for a Continuous Improvement Apprentice who will support our Continuous Improvement Team in the North Europe Region. The successful candidate will report directly to the North Europe Continuous Improvement Manager and will be located in Delft. The internship lasts one year and is paid.
Your daily duties will include, and You will be responsible for the following:
Support to Continuous Improvement Managers/Engineers in the region (8 factories)
Leading and participating in continuous improvement activities in different factoriesKaizens, 6S, SMED’s, benchmarking, studies, etc
Support in developing and giving training in Lean continuous improvement tools and methodologies
Reporting on a monthly basis
Data analysis and performance management – create insights and generate improvement plans on the industrial operations
Developing and standardizing solutions and driving the implementation
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a candidate, who is/has:
An English-speaking motivated engineer who just graduated and is ready to embark on an exciting journey.
Another language (Dutch, Swedish, Finnish, Norwegian, or Estonian) is preferred but not a must.
Analytical mindset
Proactive and hands-on attitude
Thrilled about working in a fast-changing international environment together with people from different cultures and with different backgrounds
Ability to travel, less than 20%. Available to support in person during a limited time (up to 3 months) in one specific factory if needed
Has very good communication skills and can work both independently and as a part of the team
Very good at following deadlines and is ready to be a part of a dynamic environment, where priorities can change fast
Open minded and easy-going
Who does not need visa sponsorship – unfortunately we can not provide that for this particular role
