To put it in simple terms, they will develop mind blowing radar tech! /ppYour work will be crucial as equipping our radars with the best performing software also creates a better functioning product to our customers, and increases safety too. /ppNot only that, but you will be part of an amazing growing and Agile ID Software Engineering Team, reporting directly to the team lead, who is there to support and guide you. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliDesign, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C++ code. /liliIdentify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems. /liliHelp maintain code quality, organization, and automatization. /liliWorking with other departments on technical issues including software system design and maintenance. /liliAnalyzing information to recommend and plan the installation of new systems or modifications of an existing system. /liliConsulting with engineering staff to evaluate software hardware interfaces and develop specifications and performance requirements. /liliGive direction to software programming and documentation development. /li /ulh3Requirements /h3ulliBA/MSc degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field. /liliA minimum of 5 years' experience as a C++ Software Developer and with current knowledge of (advanced) C++ 17/20 standards. /liliExtensive experience in developing and deploying software on Linux. /liliKnowledge of multithreaded code, real-time environments and Qt. /liliKnowledge of PostgreSQL databases, JSON and XML. /liliFamiliarity with low-level hardware interactions. /liliAbility to develop unit tests of code components using GoogleTest. /liliExperience with Bitbucket or similar version control systems, Jira and Qt Creator. /liliStrong understanding of the software development life-cycle and familiarity with continuous integration (Jenkins). /liliExperience with development methodologies like Agile/Scrum. /liliGood communication skills in English, Dutch is a plus. /li /ulh3Nice to Have /h3ulliExperience with radar systems or a similar industry. /liliExperience with embedded systems design. /li /ulpN.B.
