Overview: The Tender Engineer plays a pivotal role in the organization, responsible for coordinating the tender process from inception to submission. This position requires a combination of technical expertise, project management skills, and keen attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preparation and compilation of tender documents, ensuring compliance with client requirements, technical specifications, and contractual obligations.

  • Conduct comprehensive technical analysis of tender specifications, drawings, and other documentation to identify project requirements, risks, and opportunities.

  • C ollaborate with relevant stakeholders to develop accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and other resources required for tender submissions.

  • Develop and implement effective bid strategies to maximize competitiveness and enhance the chances of successful tender outcomes.

  • Identify potential risks and mitigating factors associated with tender submissions, and proactively address them to minimize potential impact on project delivery.

  • Liaise with internal departments, external suppliers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and ensure alignment throughout the tender process

  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical Engineering, Enviromenttal, Process Engineering
  • Proven experience in tendering, bidding, or project management within the construction, engineering, or related
  • Knowledge from the anaerobic and/or biogas markets.
  • Proficiency in cost estimation techniques and software tools.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in documentation and calculations.
  • Familiarity with relevant legislation, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software applications.
