A Software Architect – Kernel / Toolchain is sought by this expanding technology organisation. Based at their R+D Centre in Delft the Software Architect will be responsible for the development of next generation software stacks including compilers, SDKs, Kernel development and embedded software applications. The Software Architect will be working closely with a team of System Architects committed to delivering state-of-the-art systems to emerging, leading edge technologies.
You will bring proven experience in designing and writing compilers and the associated SDKs coupled with producing efficient software architectures. Your background will also include solid C and C++ skills preferably gained in an embedded software environment with exposure to communication protocols, parallel processing or Linux kernel level development being preferred. You will need some knowledge of at least one of the following: LLVM, GCC, MLIR or TVM and a track record working with hardware teams, systems teams and other stakeholders would be beneficial.
