ppAt Praxa Sense, we’re redefining non-invasive health monitoring with our optical innovation ALIS – a speckle-based biosensor enabling new frontiers in remote vital sign tracking. /p pWe’re looking for a Signal Processing Engineer to design and optimize the algorithms that transform raw optical signals into physiological insights. You’ll work on both real-time embedded pipelines and offline post-processing, ensuring our models are accurate and causal, and closely follow physiological trends. /p pIf you’ve ever tuned a filter to perfection or extracted heartbeats from noise, this is your playground. /p h3What you will do /h3 ul liDesign, prototype, and validate signal processing algorithms for real-time and offline applications. /li liWork with Python, C, and C++ to implement efficient, scalable processing chains. /li liDevelop filters, motion compensation, and adaptive algorithms for PPG and related optical signals. /li liOptimize computational pipelines for embedded execution while preserving accuracy. /li liCollaborate with firmware and data science teams to ensure cross‑stack consistency. /li liConduct spectral, statistical, and time‑frequency analyses on sensor data. /li liMaintain algorithm documentation, version control (GitHub), and reproducible experiments. /li liContribute to algorithm testing frameworks and performance evaluation metrics. /li /ul h3What we are looking for /h3 ul li5+ years of experience in biomedical or physical signal processing. /li liMSc degree in Signal Processing, Biomedical Engineering, Applied Physics, or related discipline (HBO + 10 yrs exp accepted). /li liProven track record with low‑level sensor data, ideally PPG / similar optical signals. /li liStrong command of digital filtering, adaptive signal processing, and spectral analysis. /li liFamiliarity with causality constraints in real‑time systems. /li liBonus: experience with laser‑speckle or optical flow‑based signal extraction. /li liFluent in both Python (for research) and C/C++ (for implementation). /li liPragmatic, analytical, and excited to work across algorithmic and system boundaries. /li liThrives in lean, agile environments – enjoys wearing multiple hats and taking ownership. /li liBelieves in synergy: great products emerge when experts in different domains collaborate closely. /li /ul h3What we offer /h3 ul liA salary matching your experience with potential equity participation. /li liA pivotal role in building a deep‑tech biosensing product. /li liDirect collaboration with experts in optics, signal processing, and data science. /li liThe chance to shape how world‑leading companies integrate our technology. /li liHybrid work culture: in‑person collaboration in Delft at least 2 days/week, work from home when you need focus. /li li25 paid holiday days per year. /li liBudget for personal development and your home office. /li liThe satisfaction of building technology that directly improves health monitoring. /li /ul pSubmissions without a motivational letter will result in automatic rejection. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
