Become an Product Manager at Getinge Applikon

As a Product Manager, you will play a key role in driving the commercial success of upstream bioprocessing solutions. By conducting thorough market and competitor research, you will identify emerging trends and innovative techniques in the Life Sciences and biotechnology industries. Your goal will be to refine the existing product range to better align with customer needs.

You will oversee the performance of your product portfolio, providing essential support to both internal and external sales teams to help achieve commercial targets. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the Product Development team, offering insights that guide the development and implementation of new technologies. In this position, you will be involved in the entire lifecycle of bioreactor systems, ensuring that customer feedback is central to every stage of the process within Getinge Applikon.

Moreover, you will manage the sales documentation related to your products, including product presentations, data sheets, competitive analysis, training materials, marketing collateral, and standard quotations.

Your core duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Represent the voice-of-the-customer within the organization.
  • Supporting internal and external sales teams by providing up-to-date product information.
  • Assisting in and organizing product launches.
  • Manage the product roadmap for your product portfolio.
  • Assisting in and guiding the development of requirements packages for new products based on market requirements.
  • Assisting in product sales trainings.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report global product performance.
  • Maintaining product information for internal and external sales and marketing departments.
  • Maintaining communication with distributors and customers to gather market information.
  • Participating in exhibitions to support global sales, representing the organization and to explore new business opportunities.
  • Conducting seminars and webinars and representing the organization at customer meetings and conferences.
  • Knowledge, skills, and experience

  • Completed MSc in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or a related field, with 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • A commercial mindset with hands-on commercial experience and a strong affinity for biotechnology are essential.
  • We seek candidates who are passionate about research and development in life sciences and biotechnology and have the ambition to shape the future of upstream bioprocessing solutions in the Life Sciences industry.
  • Familiarity with the entire product range and its application areas is expected.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong command of English, both spoken and written, are required.
  • A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel internationally for on-site work are necessary.
