We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to leadand coordinate procurement activities related to logistics warehousing,commodity, MHE tenders, contract processes, and investments. The role focuseson achieving the optimum balance between service and cost for procurementactivities across 16 European countries, with project values ranging from €50Kto over €20M.

You will also conduct business simulations and benchmarks toidentify strategic SCM solutions while anticipating market trends and unlockingnew business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • ProcurementStrategy & Governance :
    Develop, execute, and oversee procurementstrategies that align with organizational goals.
  • TenderManagement :
    Lead and manage the procurement tender process, includingbidding plans, progress tracking, and alignment with internal stakeholders.
  • Contract& Vendor Management :
    Establish and maintain strong vendor relationshipswhile negotiating contracts that meet business requirements.
  • MasterData Oversight :
    Manage and optimize the e-bidding system and providetraining for new users.
  • PerformanceManagement :
    Monitor procurement KPIs and implement improvements to driveefficiency and transparency.
  • MarketIntelligence :
    Conduct logistics market analysis and develop relationshipswith potential suppliers.
  • ProcessOptimization :
    Continuously improve procurement processes to align with bestpractices and organizational needs.
  • Collaboration :
    Partner with logistics managers across European Sales Subsidiaries and seniormanagement to drive procurement success.

    • About You

    We are looking for a candidate whopossesses the following qualifications and competencies: 

    Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s/Master’sdegree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • At least5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or implementation withinlogistics, facility management, or similar sectors.
  • Strongknowledge of supply chain and logistics, with a particular focus on warehousingand supply chain management.
  • Proficientin MS Office , especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experiencewith ERP systems, e-procurement tools, and procurement bidding platforms.
  • NEVI1 and 2 certification is a plus.
  • A widelogistics network is advantageous.
  • Abilityto travel within Europe (less than 20%).
