Your Role as an HR Officer
As an HR Officer at Fox-IT, you and your support colleague will be the first point of contact for all HR-related questions from employees. You will ensure that administration and processing are handled quickly and accurately while also contributing to projects aimed at improving our HR services.
Within Fox-IT, our team serves as the go-to resource for all HR-related matters. The team’s responsibilities are divided into three key areas of expertise: advisory, recruitment, and support.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Responding to and handling inquiries via email and phone.
- Processing personnel changes in our HR system.
- Drafting, modifying, and completing letters and contracts.
- Updating employee records.
- Tracking and recording sick leave.
- Preparing various ad hoc and recurring monthly reports based on HR data.
- Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations across all administrative processes, letters, and communications.
- Assisting in various HR projects, such as creating an HR handbook.
About You

The Ideal HR Support Employee:
- You have a higher professional education (HBO) level of thinking and working (in HR, administration, or social/legal fields) and 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar HR support role.
- You have a solid understanding of employment laws and regulations relevant to HR.
- You work accurately and meticulously, maintaining oversight, thinking ahead, and connecting different tasks and activities effectively.
- You enjoy assisting employees, are a strong team player, and have a pragmatic approach.
- You are proficient in working with software like Word and Excel. Experience with Workday is a plus.
- Given our international work environment, fluency in both Dutch and English (spoken and written) is essential.
- You are resilient under pressure and comfortable in a fast-paced setting. You can manage deadlines effectively and set priorities independently.
