At VSParticle we are passionate about innovation in nanotechnology for meaningful purposes. From our office in Delft, the Netherlands, we designed and developed a portfolio of Nanoparticle Generation and -Printing systems. As VSParticle continues to expand and professionalize, we are seeking a dedicated Facility Manager to ensure the optimal working environment for all employees. This role encompasses a variety of facility, organizational, and administrative tasks crucial to supporting our office and staff. The Facility Manager reports directly to the HR Manager, playing a pivotal role in fostering a conducive workplace environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day facility operations including mail handling, reception duties, and office supply procurement.
  • Maintain cleanliness and functionality of office amenities such as the coffee machine, kitchen, and plants.
  • Organise internal events to foster a positive workplace culture, and provide daily company lunch arrangements.
  • Engage in light administrative tasks and assist in designing and optimizing facility processes.
  • Oversee building maintenance activities and advise on workplace design enhancements.
  • Manage workplace management initiatives including new workplace coordination and furniture procurement.
  • Act as a liaison for renovations and outsourced services, ensuring effective collaboration and timely completion.
  • Contribute to the development of facility policy and optimize internal processes to support business goals.
  • Lead emergency response efforts and contribute to risk assessment and prevention activities.
  • Ensure access management and building security measures are maintained.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management or related field.
  • 2-5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency in English; Dutch proficiency is a plus.
  • Service-minded with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Assertive and capable of independent decision-making.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Available at least 32 hours per week, 40 hours is preferred.
