As Embedded Test Automation Engineer, you will be the gatekeeper for best-in-class software quality and reliability for our EV charging technologies. You work towards optimizing the software testing processes by improving and extending our software test automation frameworks. Together with your team and other stakeholders, you strive towards delivering fully automated software test processes while meeting our competitive timelines.
You will be part of the Global Test Automation Team, Delft location. You will also have colleagues in other parts of the world, bringing diverse sets of cultures and skills. You will report to the Global Software Test Automation Lead. Will you answer the call to be the heart and soul of our daily software innovations?
What you will do:
- Improve and extend our test automation framework;
- Work in close collaboration with software testers and developers;
- Create test automation plans and execute on them;
- Perform manual tests during development to figure out how to automate them;
- Support developers to improve the testability of the software;
- Act as quality conscience for software releases; keeping an eye out for bottlenecks and collaborate with other departments and the customer to optimize system performance.
What you will bring:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or any other relevant field.
- 4+ years of experience in testing and test automation, preferably in an embedded environment
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology
- Experience in setting up test frameworks and integration of frameworks in a pipeline
- Experience in developing test automation software by using Python
- Experience with tools like Robot Framework, Cucumber, Appium or comparable
- Experience with Azure DevOps
- Experience in testing for modem/connectivity issues, security and performance measurement is a plus
