The challenge
As an Embedded Software Engineer you will contribute to the development of software that operates close to hardware in a complex high-tech environment. Your work will focus on developing reliable embedded software that supports system control, communication and interaction with hardware components. The software plays a key role in enabling precise control and performance of advanced optical communication systems.
You will collaborate closely with software engineers, system engineers and hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration of the software within the broader system architecture.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop embedded software in C/C++ interacting directly with hardware
- Contribute to the design and implementation of control software for optical communication systems
- Implement and maintain unit tests and software quality practices
- Collaborate with hardware, system and software engineers in multidisciplinary teams
- Contribute to CI/CD and DevOps workflows including automated builds and testing
- Support integration, debugging and system validation in a high-tech environment
Your profile
We are looking for an engineer who enjoys working on complex technology in multidisciplinary environments. Requirements:
- A bachelor or master degree in computer science or relevant other field
- At least 5 years of experience in embedded software development
- Strong programming experience in C and/or C++
- Experience with unit testing and software quality practices
- Experience developing software that interacts with hardware
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines or automated build environments
- Comfortable working in multidisciplinary engineering teams
Nice to have:
- Experience in space, aerospace or satellite environments
- Experience with control software or real-time systems
- Experience working in high-tech R&D environments

- A salary indication between 68-73K depending on experience
