Allseas Engineering is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join adynamic and innovative team that supports the transition to a new way ofworking using IaC and automation of support activities. This will enableAllseas to excel and stay ahead in offshore pipeline installation, heavy liftand subsea construction. Are you a tech-savvy, automation and innovation-drivenindividual? Your role

The primary responsibilities of this role are to support awide range of applications and platforms by automating tasks related tosoftware deployment and support. You will also plan and execute the supportneeded for applications used in the our office and on board of our vessels worldwide.As a DevOps Engineer you will collaborates with end users and stakeholders onprojects and new technologies to provide IT best practices. You will also helpoptimize internal processes and policies to improve our way of working.

(Main)job specific tasks

  • Maintain and build scripts for automation using AzurePipelines, PowerShell, Terraform and Ansible.
  • Plan and coordinate deployments and upgrades forapplications.
  • Create, update and follow technical documentation,installation manuals and scripts for Windows-, Web-, Custom- andDatabase-driven applications.
  • Communicate and collaborate with end users, key stakeholdersand other IT teams/colleagues.
  • Participate in projects to provide IT-related expertise onbest practices and support.
  • Assist in documenting internal processes and policies.
  • Keep up to date with the latest program updates anddevelopments regarding new features.
  • Be a member of the Technical Application Support disciplinethat is part of a wider team supporting Enterprise Content Management, SQL,Integrations and Quality Assurance.
  • What we expect from you

    The candidate we are looking for has agood understanding of IT fundamentals regarding infrastructure, AzureCloud, software integrations, operating systems and databases. He/she hasa desire to automate and innovate and is able to adapt change and picks up newinformation quickly. You have good communication skills, are proactive andlike to collaborate with your team/colleagues.

    Besides this, you have

  • HBO/BSc degree in InformationTechnology.
  • Minimum of 3 years of related IT backoffice work experience.
  • Experience with custom applicationsupport.
  • Experience with Agile (Scrum) andassociated tools like Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with ITSM (IT ServiceManagement) tools like TopDesk.
